Day begins with the Firemen's breakfast at 6:30 a.m. at the Monticello Berndes
Center. Parade at noon, Bill Riley Talent Show at 3 p.m., food, fun and fireworks,
2 p.m. to dark at the Monticello Fairgrounds
• July 4 – Fourth of July celebration in Anamosa
and Oxford Junction. Both communities will have fireworks shows and Oxford
Junction will also have activities to celebrate the Fourth
• July 9-11 – Wyoming Fair and Horse Show in Wyoming
• July 11 – Monticello Day at Cedar Rapids Kernels

• Aug. 6-8 – The Annual Olin Jamboree. Activities
include parade, square dancing, games, tractor pulls, softball
• Aug. 18 – Ping Pong Ball-o-rama in Monticello
• Aug. 29 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) – Edinburgh Day at the ghost
town of Edinburgh near Amber
SEPTEMBER
• Sept. 12 – Motorcycle hillclimb, swap meet and
