The 150th anniversary of the founding of the town of Morley, Iowa, formerly Viroqua, will be celebrated on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3.
Family friendly activities (most of which are free) will include a parade at 1 p.m., kids’ games, a cake walk, and a dance featuring Crosscut, a Monticello ensemble. Food trucks including Willie Ray’s BBQ, a nationally known barbeque purveyor from Marion; That’s So Cheezy, as well as Wick’s Pizzeria from Wyoming, and Two Scoops out of Anamosa will be available for food purchases on Saturday.
