Evening storms on Friday, July 13 forced the Wyoming Fair to cancel their annual fair kick-off parade through the streets of Wyoming. The parade grand marshals were honored before the royalty crowning inside the Cattlemen’s Barn: Tom and Margaret (not pictured) Rohwedder and Bill and Lola (not pictured) Hansen. Both men were instrumental in revamping the tractor pull event at the Wyoming Fair. In the mid-1960s, they brought the pull to a whole new level and ran the event until 1979. Today, Tom and Bill are dedicated spectators with their own special seat in the stands (Photo by Kim Brooks)
