William G. “Will” Klostermann Mar. 5, 1944 – Dec. 3, 2016

William G. “Will” Klostermann, 72, of Bernard, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at 11:40 p.m. at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 2 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Dec.  8, 2016 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a wake service will be held at 7  p.m.  A private burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

He was born March 5, 1944 in Cascade, son of Joseph and Georgene (Coyle) Klostermann.  He is a graduate of the former Aquin High School in Cascade.  He was employed with Cargill until his retirement in 2002 and also at the area dirt racetracks.

On Dec. 28, 1968 he was united in marriage to Barbara LeClere at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Cascade.  She preceded him in death on June 18, 1978.  On July 16, 1983 he was united in marriage to Janell Wolfe at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fillmore.

He enjoyed playing cards.

He is survived by his wife Janell Klostermann of Bernard; his children, Tina (Matt) Cigrand of Monticello, Alan (Lisa) Klostermann of Bernard, Todd (Karen) Klostermann of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Betty LeClere of Dubuque, four siblings, Pat (Carl) Green of Cascade, Frank (Diane) Klostermann of Atkins, Carol Grom of Minn. and Diane Jaeger of Cascade; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Wolfe, Jay Wolfe and                       Gina (Randy) Gadient all of Cascade, Jill Wolfe of Littleton, Colo., Diane (Bob) Harris of Dubuque, Colleen (Tim) Crew of West Branch, Joan (Duane) Feltes of Delhi; and Tom LeClere of Dubuque.

He is also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kim Klostermann on Dec. 1, 2014; his father and mother-in-law, Cyril and Marilyn Wolfe; and a brother-in-law, James Wolfe.
