Starlighters hopes to reunite ‘Odd Couple’ cast

     In the fall of 1977, a young Starlighters Community Theatre brought to life a hit comedy by Neil Simon. Forty years later, Starlighters is doing the hit comedy again, “The Odd Couple.”

     Starlighters would like a reunion of “old timers” on Sunday, April 23, at 2 p.m. at the Starlighters II Community Theatre at 200 E. Main St. in Anamosa. So far, Felix, Oscar, and Murray plan to attend. They hope that as many of the “old timers” as possible will do so.      Bob Furino will be the emcee for a Talk Back event after the performance on April 23 for a discussion with the current and 1977 cast, and audience members who wish to stay. Before the show, there will be an area in the lobby where “old timers” can gather and talk.
