What better timing to remind the public of the sale of Chris Stapleton concert tickets than a week after his sweep of awards at the Country Music Awards.

On Nov. 14, Stapleton came away with three awards: Single of the Year for “Broken Halos,” Song of the Years for “Broken Halos,” and Male Vocalist of the Year.

The celebrated country music singer and songwriter will be appearing at the Great Jones County Fair on Saturday, July 20, at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, Black Friday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. You can purchase tickets online only through the fair’s website, www.greatjonescountyfair.com.

Tickets for all seating areas (standing room only on the track, seated amphitheater and seated hillside) are $83 each.

Before Stapleton started performing his own songs, he has written close to 200 songs for other talented musicians. He co-wrote six number-one country songs for the likes of Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, and Dierks Bentley. Stapleton has also written songs for artists in other genres, including: Adele, Peter Frampton, and Sheryl Crow.

Stapleton has been quite successful when it comes to music award shows. Since 2016, he’s been nominated and/or won an Academy of Country Music Award and a Billboard Music Award. For 2015, 2016, and 2017, he was named CMT Artist of the Year. He’s won a Country Music Association Award every year since 2015. Stapleton has also won five Grammy Awards since 2016.

As his bio states: “Chris Stapleton appeared to be one of those overnight storybook sensations: a troubadour who came out of nowhere to become a major star in the autumn of 2015 on the strength of his debut album, ‘Traveller.’”

Since his debut album, Stapleton has released his second, two-volume album titled “From a Room.”

It’s almost unheard of that a musician with only two albums would see this much success and recognition in the music industry. It typically takes years for musicians to even be recognized by their peers. That’s why Stapleton is seen as an overnight sensation.

Be sure to get tickets for Stapleton’s “never ending stream of GREAT music at the 2019 Great Jones County Fair!” They’re sure to go fast.
