Spread the Word to End the Word

Last week, Reps. Andy McKean (left) and Lee Hein (right) welcomed Amanda Oswald and TJ Hon to the Iowa House of Representatives. Oswald and Hon were visiting the Capitol along with Best Buddies of Iowa and Special Olympics of Iowa to talk with legislators about “Spread the Word to End the Word,” a campaign that brings awareness to the hurtfulness and disrespect associated with using the “R” word.
