Central Park to

Host ‘Fish Fun’

   Calling all fish lovers and fish enthusiasts! Join naturalist intern, Delaney Clark, on Saturday, June 8 for a fun-filled afternoon of fish identification, games, and fish prints!

     All ages are encouraged to attend. Bring with you an old article of clothing (pants, shorts, socks, or shirt) to put your fish print on. This event will take place in the Central Park Nature Center lower level at 1 p.m.

‘Pond Stomp’

event is slated

     Hop on over to the Central Park Nature Center to learn about Iowa’s amazing pond creatures. This fun and educational “Pond Stomp” event will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Bring your boots and nets and join us outside to find out what lives in the ponds at Central Park. Don’t have a net? No worries; borrow one of ours.
