A car versus coyote accident took place on March 20 at 5:54 a.m. on Highway 151. Jose De Jesus Soto Gamino, 38, of Cedar Rapids was driving a 2008 Chevy Colorado LT when he encountered a

coyote in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Soto Gamino’s vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000 in damages.

A car versus deer accident took place on March 21 at 5:25 a.m. on County Road E-34/Fairview Road. Kortnie Dawn Fleming, 25, of Anamosa was driving a 2009 Jeep Wrangler when she encountered a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Fleming’s vehicle sustained an estimated $3,000 in damages.
