Panthers perform in Iowa City

     The Monticello High School dance team’s Panther Poms had solos compete at the Iowa Spirit Squads Fall Spirit Spectacular Oct. 14 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.

     The team is coached by Amanda Hackney. Panther results follow.

     Kelsey Adams, second of 11 in Freshman Solo.

     Sydney Freeze, fifth of 27 in Sophomore Solo.

     Emma Brighton, 10th of 17 in Junior Solo.

     Nicole Smith, 11th of 22 in Senior Solo.

     The team is gearing up for its next solo/team competition, Oct. 27 in the Stack the Stands Competition at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School.
