Monticello Farmers Market

This week is National Farmers Market Week.

Iowa has over 200 farmers markets and ranks 4^th in the United States in the number of farmers markets and 2^nd in the number of markets per capita. According to Iowa State University, farmers markets in Iowa create nearly 600 jobs and over $59 million in gross sales to the state economy.

We will be celebrating National Farmers Market Week with a drawing on both Wednesday and Saturday. Be sure to sign up both days! Pete Temple will be entertaining us on Saturday morning.

Market days are Wednesday afternoon from 3-5:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8-11 a.m.

The Monticello Farmers Market is located at Willow Shelter, next to Pizza Ranch.
