MHS musicians score well at solo, ensemble contest

     Monticello High School musicians collected numerous high ratings at the State Solo & Ensemble Contest Saturday, April 7 at North Cedar High School in Clarence.

     A list of ratings received follows.

 

Vocal

     Getting a “I” rating:

     Solos: Courtney Campbell, Hayo Eiben, Cassie Gillmore, Olivia Goodyear, Levi Temple and Kiley Wall.

     Duets: Kiley Wall and Cassie Gillmore.

     Ensembles: Senior trio, senior octet, Forte Singers.

     Getting a “II” rating:

     Solos: Makayla Coffey, Robby Holmes, Ashley Jenkins, Justin Martin, Rylee McBride, Ryan Oswald, Haley Shady and Presley Tapken.

     Duets: Grace Heinrich and Maci Fortman, Olivia Goodyear and Presley Tapken, Robby Holmes and Jeff Carlson, Adele Hogan and Caroline Olson.

 

Band

     Getting a “I” rating:

     Solos: Sophia Ahlrichs, Noah Arduser, Olivia Besler, Courtney Campbell, Kehde Campbell, Clara Finger, Olivia Goodyear, Chloe Gray, Philip King, Daltyn Kramer, Rileigh Lambert, Ben Oswald, Ryan Oswald, Gary Pasker, Maddie Stadtmueller, Levi Temple and Micah Williams.

     Duets: Jeff Carlson and Levi Temple.

     Ensembles: Flute ensemble, percussion ensemble, saxophone ensemble, woodwind trio.

     Getting a “II” rating:

     Solos: Kacie Bayne, Jeff Carlson, Makayla Coffey, Cole Cruise, Drucilla Kramer, Evee Krouse, Ryan Oswald, Jordyn Patterson and Kiley Wall.

     Duets: Rachel Larabee and Jordyn Patterson.
