Meyers inducted to ISU Cardinal Key Honor Society

     Nick Meyers of Monticello has been initiated into Cardinal Key Honor Society at Iowa State University.  Meyers will graduate next spring with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.  During his time at Iowa State, he has been heavily involved with Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, acting as an academic mentor, leadership development chairman, and currently as Vice President. Last April, he was accepted into the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion program. Following graduation, he will be trained and will then instruct others on how to operate nuclear reactors on naval ships.  His goal is to one day contribute to space exploration as an astronaut. 

     Cardinal Key Honor Society is the highest All-University Honorary at Iowa State University. Cardinal Key strives to recognize select students who demonstrate excellence in leadership, scholarship, character and community service. Each year one third of one percent of all juniors and one half of one percent of all seniors are selected to be initiated. Membership in Cardinal Key is lifelong.
