May Beef Month award

Each year in honor of May Beef Month, the Jones County Cattlemen nominate a Friend of Industry, presented to a business or individual that has supported the cattlemen throughout the years. Andy Petersen of WMT Radio (right) receives this year’s award from Jones County Cattlemen president Justin Reiter. Petersen was chosen for being the announcer at the annual Jones County Beef Banquet, and for being a voice for agriculture in Iowa. (Photos submitted)
