How does Trump Administration compare?

Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

The Mueller investigation has gotten me interested in studying a little history. I want to find out how President Trump compares or will compare to Nixon, Reagan, George W. Bush when it comes to indictments, criminal convictions and people sent to prison. Here is what I’ve found so far – I researched from 1969 to 2017.

     1. Nixon had 76 indictments, 55 criminal convictions and 15 sent to prison.

     2. Reagan had 26, 16 and eight.

     3. George W. Bush had 16, 16 and nine.

     4. The combined total for Ford, Carter, H.W. Bush, Clinton and Obama was five, three, and three. Obama was the best at zero, zero, and zero.

     5. So far, the Mueller investigation into the Trump Administration has resulted in indictments or guilty pleas from 19 people and three companies and one sent to prison. This information may not be completely accurate because of all the stuff going on in the last week or so.

After only 15 months in office, the Trump Administration has already jumped into fourth place. My question is will Trump surpass Bush, Reagan or even Nixon? I guess time will tell.
