Garden Club

     The Monticello Garden Club met on Feb. 22 at the Presbyterian Church. The meeting was opened with a reading given by Sharon Kell "The Legend of Valentines."

     Joy Adams said she took a book that we have purchased to the library "The World of Laura Ingalls Wilder" in memory of Mary Siebels.

     Marilyn Schneiderman told of the plans for our flowerbeds this year. It was stated that we would put stakes in our beds at Fountain Park as snowmobilers ran over one of our shrubs that we had just planted. The program was given by Donna Helgens on Favorite Houseplants. Lunch was served by Sharon Kell. 

     Our next meeting will be March 22 at the church at 1:30 p.m. We will be making Fairy Gardens. If you have a container bring it and any small figures you have.  Visitors are welcome.
