Fisher appointed adjunct faculty

Gary W. Fisher, OD has been appointed to the adjunct faculty of the University of Alabama – Birmingham, School of Optometry. Dr. Fisher will begin training UAB externs this summer at his Sigma Eyehealth Center clinics in Monticello, Anamosa, and Marion. Each extern will spend one semester learning real-world clinical skills under the guidance of Dr. Fisher. He previously held a similar position with the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, know known as Des Moines University. (Photo submitted)
