On behalf of the members of DuTrac Community Credit Union, $500 was donated to the Monticello Animal Welfare Foundation.

“We are extremely grateful for this donation,” said Tracy McCarty, AWF manager. “The money will go towards medical expenses that occur during the intake of animals. It will pay for animals to be spayed or neutered along with any vaccinations they may require.”

The Foundation began over 12 years ago and since its founding, the organization has helped hundreds of animals from Jones County and out of state.

“DuTrac is happy to support the Monticello Animal Welfare Foundation in its ongoing efforts to rescue and care for animals,” said Andy Hawkinson, president and CEO of DuTrac.
