     Aaron James Coon, Ames, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to comply with sex offender registry 1st offense. He was sentenced to two years in prison and, fined $625 plus court costs.

     Angel Ann Hurt, Anamosa, was charged with carrying weapons. An arraignment is set for Aug. 14.

     Charles James Ellison, Monticello, was charged with driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 16.

     Derrick Scott Maschmann, Clarence, was charged with driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 16.

     Martin Joseph Payton, Monticello, was charged with three counts of child endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine). A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Jennifer Ann Payton, Monticello, was charged with three counts of child endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine). A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Judith Renae Guyer, Monticello, was found guilty to contempt. She was sentenced to 13 days in jail. Guyer also pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was fined $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.                                                    

     Cynthia Lee Shelton, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless use of a firearm. She was fined $65 plus court costs, and sentenced to five years in prison. The sentence was suspended, and Shelton was placed on unsupervised probation for one year.

     Troy Lynn Petz, Jr., Fort Madison, was found guilty of assault on persons engaged in certain occupations-bodily fluids. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $750 plus court costs. The fine was suspended.

     Nathan Michael Folkers, Monticello, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of fraudulent practices 3rd degree. He was fined $625 plus court costs, and sentenced to two years in prison, given credit for time previously served. The fine was suspended, and Folkers was placed on self-supervised probation for two years.

     Kassaun Lamar Brown, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to drug distribution to person under 18, controlled substance violation, unlawful possession of prescription drug, and gathering where marijuana is used. A jury trial is set for Sept. 12.

     Candace Rose O’Donnell-Meseraull, Martelle, was charged with forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 16.

     Melissa May Jenkins, Anamosa, was charged with gathering where controlled substances are used and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Lynn Larue McGovern, Anamosa, was charged with gathering where controlled substances are used and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Jeffrey Ray Jenkins, Marion, was charged with gathering where controlled substances are used and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Alexis Nicole Lakose, Oxford Junction, was charged with controlled substance violation (methamphetamine), gathering where controlled substances are used, and child endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Kendra Jo Dennis, Clarence, was charged with gathering where controlled substances are used and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine). A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Freddy Steven Shover, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance (marijuana). Judgment was deferred, and Shover was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was assessed a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Brenna Renee Bristol, Morley, pleaded not guilty to possession of controlled substance 1st offense and OWI 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 24.

     Joseph Philip Jensen, Anamosa, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Aug. 14.

     Wesley Carl Gerdes, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Aug. 14.

     Dylan D. Wilson, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Aug. 14.

     Michael Lamorrow Lott, Coralville, pleaded guilty to assault on correctional officer. He was fined $315 plus court costs, and sentenced to 75 days in jail. The fine was suspended.

     Brooke Desire Mull, Anamosa, was charged with possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 10.

     Ryan Andrew Patzkowsky, Olin, was arrested for possession of controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 18.

     Cody Laine Jamison, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Jacob Scott Miller, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.  He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Lonnie Ray Eilers, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 24.

     Nicholas Edward Ryba, Olathe, Kan., pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     Cora Carleen Kahle, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense and driving on wrong side of the highway. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 18.

     Sarah Jane Luchtenburg, Anamosa, was arrested for OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.

     Keith Arthur Wernimont, Monticello, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 16.
