District Court

     John William James Melville, Jr., Anamosa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Jeremy Dean Hunter, Wyoming, was charged with 1st degree harassment and 3rd degree criminal mischief. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 28.

     Cory Allen Hardt, Nevada, pleaded guilty to assault on persons in certain occupations-intent of injury and public intoxication 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for March 19.

     Joshua David Klaren, Marion, was charged with 3rd degree burglary. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 5.

     Kristina Ann Willett, Anamosa, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 5.

     Jeremy Leon Torkelson, Central City, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Torkelson was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Kaitlyn Renee Hall, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Hall was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Mercedes Miranda Kubalek, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense and OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for March 19.

     Cynthia A. Beasley, North Dinwiddie, Va., was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Feb. 4.

     Jamie Joseph Buresh, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Steven Forrest Vaughn, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 16.

     Sarah Michele Williams-Seeley, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for April 16.

     Douglas Jon Hallowell, Wheatland, was charged with OWI 1st offense. No court date is set.

     Troy Thomas Eden, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 16.
