District Court

     Dana Lee Abbott, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. All but two days of the sentence were suspended, and Abbott was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. The fine was also suspended.

     Jody Jane Jamieson, Monticello, was charged with OWI 1st offense, possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense, and possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 4.

     Taylor Rose Gray, Central City, was found guilty of two counts of contempt of court. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, to run concurrently with three sentences in Linn County. Gray’s probation was also extended for one year.

     Cassandra Marie Luzum, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of contraband in correctional institution and possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 9.

     Blake Cameron Kohlmeyer, Nashua, was arrested for forgery and possession of marijuana 1st offense. No court date was set.

     Joshua Robert Klein, Marion, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for March 26.

     Angel Ann Hurt, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to driving while license denied/revoked. She was fined $1,000 plus court costs.

     Jack William Berry, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 2nd offense. He was sentenced to five days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs.

     Calvin Theodore Clark, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for March 26.

     Gage Christian Kelly, Oxford Mills, pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of prescription drugs and controlled substance violation (Alprazolam). A jury trial is set for April 9.

     Samantha Ann Peck, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to assault on certain occupations. A jury trial is set for April 9.

     Alexis Nicole Lakose, Oxford Junction, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 30.

     Shelby Lynn Minnaert, Oxford Junction, was charged with possession of marijuana 2nd offense and no insurance. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 30.

     Kolin Chandler Geiger, Olin, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Jan. 28.

     Jessica Harford, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense and operating a non-registered vehicle. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 1.

     Erin Jane Edenfield, Springville, was charged with possession of theft-detection removal device. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 4.

     Jose Antonio Domenech, Jr., Pueblo, Colo., was arrested for possession of marijuana 1st offense. No court date was set.

     Nicholas Edward Ryba, Olathe, Kan., pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Ryba was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs and victim restitution.

     Andrew Masson Osterkamp, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Ryba was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs and victim restitution.

     Kevin Paul Kilburg, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense and OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 1.
