Chamber brings back Uptown Thursday Night

The Monticello Chamber of Commerce’s Uptown Thursday Night events are back!

The first to kick-off the summer season is Thursday, June 21, from 5-8 p.m. at the downtown Pocket Park. Uptown Thursday Nights are free and open to the public. Be sure to bring a lawn chair, sit back, relax and enjoy the evening.

Music will be provided by Ron Lafleur and The Boy Scout Hippies. Free family activities include BINGO, kids’ games, and bags tournaments. Food, ice cream, beverages, beer and wine will be available for purchase.

The June 21 event is sponsored by The Monticello Express and Fareway Meat & Grocery.

There will be two other Uptown Thursday Night events to mark on your calendar: July 26 featuring music by Adam Keith and Aug. 16 featuring music by Crosscut.
