Blacks celebrate 50th anniversary

Richard “Dick” and Helen (Thomas) Black of Farley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering. They also celebrated with a trip to Hawaii in January. 
They were married on May 6, 1967 at Sacred Heart Church in Monticello.

They are parents of three sons, Steve (Judi) Black of Des Moines, Bill (Julie) Black and Nathan (Jill) Black of Farley. They are grandparents of Eliason, Jarrod, Aidan, Liam, and Taurus Black and two step-grandsons Nick (Trista) Brecht and Matthew Detmering. They are great-grandparents of Kerrigyn Black.

Dick is retired from Kluesner Construction and Helen is retired from Clarke University.
