Barta prevails in football contest

     Kathy Barta of Cedar Rapids won this week’s Express Football Contest. Barta missed four games. Her tie-breaker (TB) score was 45, and closest to the 48 points scored in the Panther football game. For her efforts she wins $15.

     Placing second for the second straight week was Carol Oberfoell of Monticello. Oberfoell also missed four games; her TB score was 37 and earned her $10.

     One other contestant missed four games, Kevin Knapp of Stanwood. His TB score was 35.

     Both of our guest pickers missed six games, Dave Haag of Spahn & Rose and Kelly Buckner of Rem Electric.

     This week’s contest had 53 entries. Winners may pick up their checks at the Express.
