Barta, Manternach are contest winners

     Bob Barta of Cedar Rapids and Donna Manternach of Monticello are the two winners from week 2 and week 3 Express Football Contests.

     Barta missed one game and picked 49 for his tiebreaker score (40 was the actual Panther score) and takes home $15. Placing second was Norb Hunt of Monticello. Hunt also missed one game. His tiebreaker score was 58 and good for the second place prize of $10. Ralph Hunt of Cascade also missed one game but his tiebreaker score of 64 was more than the other two.

     Among the guest pickers, Dave Haag of Spahn & Rose missed 8 games and Dave Postel of DuTrac missed 4 games. There were 64 entries. The Iowa State game was eliminated due to cancellation by weather.

     Manternach won week three by missing two games. She also claimed $15. Second place went to Steve Kuehn of DeWitt who missed three games. Kuehn wins $10.

     Guest pickers Nick Miller of Ohnward Bank missed seven games and Todd Lambert of Monticello Sports missed nine games. Week three had 61 entries. The Western Dubuque versus Mount Vernon game was not counted due to an error. West Delaware played Mount Vernon.
