Banquet closes MHS' season
The Monticello High School girls track and field team celebrated its season with its annual award banquet July 12 in the MHS Commons.
Team awards, along with awards for all-state performances and school records, were presented by head coach Darren Reade.
The Panthers finished 14th at the state meet in May, including a state champion 4x800-meter relay team and state runner-up Paige Holub in the 800 run.

ALL-STATE AWARD
State champion 4x800 relay team: Taylor McDonald, senior; Gabrielle Steiner, sophomore; Jordyn Patterson, senior; Paige Holub, senior.
State runner-up 800: Paige Holub.
