Anamosa accident results in injuries

     A two-vehicle accident took place on Aug. 19 at 1:19 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 151 and Old Dubuque Road in Anamosa. According to the a report from the Iowa State Patrol, a 2015 Nissan Versa, driver unidentified, was traveling southbound on Highway 151. John Saathoff, 72, of Toddville, was driving a 2012 Ford F150, stopped at the stop sign on Old Dubuque Road. Saathoff then pulled out into the path of the first vehicle resulting in a collision. Two people, ages 30 and 11, were transported by Anamosa Area Ambulance to Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa for their injuries. The accident remains under investigation  by the Iowa State Patrol.
