Almost Famous secures Talent on Parade awards

DANCE

     Almost Famous Dance Studio competed at Talent On Parade dance competition May 10-13 in Davenport.

     The team won multiple judges choice, choreography, and overall awards.

     In the Mini Team division, the Routine “Friend Like Me” placed 4th overall, and “Dream In Color” placed 3rd overall.  In the Intermediate Mini solo division, Tessa Intorf placed 10th, Keyonna Wolf placed 8th, Morgan Ward placed 6th, and Kyla Ramler placed 1st overall. In the Elite Mini Solo division, Sadie Erion placed 2nd overall. And lastly, in the Elite Mini Duo/Trio division, Kyla Ramler and Sadie Erion placed 1st with their duo, Weather Girls.

     In the Junior team division, the routine, “The Story” placed 4th overall, and “I’ve Got the Music In Me” placed 3rd overall. In the Intermediate Junior Line Division, the routine “Move” placed 1st overall.  In the Elite Junior Team Division, the routine “Believe” placed 4th overall. In the Junior Solo Division, Seneca Freeze placed 9th overall, Myra Wilson placed 8th, and Cameron Vargason placed 3rd overall. In the Junior Elite Solo Division, Kendra Davis placed 8th overall, and Grace Harms placed 2nd overall. In the Junior Duo/Trio Division, Kaylee Hollenback, Seneca Freeze, and Myra Wilson placed 5th with their trio, “Firework.” And lastly for the Junior Elite Duo/Trio Division, Kendra Davis and Grace Harms placed 4th with their duo, “Hallelujah.”

     In the Intermediate Teen Solo Division, for ages 12 and under, Madison Ward placed 7th overall, Ashlynn Brown placed 6th overall, and Addie Feldmann placed 2nd overall. In the Intermediate Teen Solo Division, for age 13 and older, Leah Smith placed 7th overall, Kelsey Adams placed 5th overall, and Victoria Bettcher placed 1st overall. In the Elite Teen Solo Division, Jessica Smock placed 10th overall, Claire Tuetken placed 9th overall, Kirstyn Miller placed 7th overall, and Brady Theisen placed 6th overall. In the Intermediate Teen Duo/Trio Division, Allie Riches and Leah Smith placed 8th overall with their duo, “Le Jazz Hot.” In the Elite Teen Solo/Duo Division, Kirstyn Miller and Sydney Freeze placed 5th overall with their solo, “Skin And Bones.” In the Intermediate Teen Team Division, the routine, “Into the Darkness” placed 9th overall. In the Elite Teen Team Division, the routine “Soldier” placed 5th overall, and the routine “Open Hands” placed 4th overall. In the Intermediate Teen Solo Division, Anisa Krouse placed 6th overall, Ally Bartachek placed 4th overall, and Megan Smith placed 1st overall. In the Elite Teen Solo Division, Nicole Smith placed 6th overall, and Madisan Birt placed 3rd overall.

     In the Intermediate Senior Solo Division, Shelbie Reyhons placed 3rd overall. In the Elite Senior Solo Division, Melissa Davis placed 5th overall, and Kate Tuetken placed 2nd overall. In the Intermediate Senior Duo/Trio Division, Ally Bartachek and Anisa Krouse placed 3rd with their duo, “This Womens Work.” In the Senior Team Division, the routine “Yonce” placed 9th overall, “Stairway to Heaven” placed 6th overall, “I’ve Got Rhythm” placed 5th overall, “Hanging By A Thread” placed 4th overall, “Come Together” placed 3rd overall, and “Ain’t No Sunshine” placed 2nd overall. And finally, in the Senior Elite Team Division, the routine “Walk The Line” placed 4th overall, and “Never Go Away” placed 3rd overall.
