Scotch Grove Challengers

     The March 5, 2017 meeting of the Scotch Grove Challengers was held at Monticello Renaissance Center in Monticello. Twenty-seven members answered the roll call topic: “Name something green.” Matthew Beal led the Pledge of Allegiance. Joseph Schrader read the Secretary’s Report. Davin Wickman made a motion to approve the Secretary’s Report. Cooper Wickman seconded. Matthew Beal read the Treasurer’s Report. Ty Jesenovec made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Davin Wickman seconded.

     New Business: An update was given on the pizza card fundraiser and it was discussed to do a brat sampler fundraiser at a later date. 4-H basketball is going to be held April 8 at the middle school. Members must sign up by the end of March in order to participate. A reminder that FSQA training needs to be completed in order to show animals at the fair. A committee needs to be formed to work on the booth and ideas. The meeting was adjourned.

     The Pledge to the 4-H Flag was led by Ty Jesenovec. Ten members gave presentations on various topics including deer antlers, a heart medical condition and how to brush a calf’s hair.
